Accommodation & Boutique Stay Photography

Tourism-informed photography for places people choose with their imagination

Your accommodation is more than a building with beautiful rooms. It is morning light through linen curtains, the sound of gravel under tyres as guests arrive, the quiet moment with a cup of tea on the verandah, the way the garden wraps around the day.

These are the details guests remember. These are the moments that turn a stay into a story worth sharing, and they are the moments that influence bookings, reviews, and return visits.

I photograph boutique accommodation, Airbnbs, farm stays, cottages, villas, tiny homes, and character properties for owners who care deeply about how their guests experience their space, not just how it photographs.

With more than ten years in tourism and destination marketing, my work is shaped by how accommodation is actually discovered, chosen, and shared online. This is photography designed to support your bookings, your brand, and your long-term reputation.

Boutique accommodation and Airbnb photography designed for booking platforms and marketing

Your images do more than sit on a website. They appear on booking platforms, tourism listings, social media, editorial features, and marketing campaigns that help guests decide where to stay and why.

That is why every session is approached with both creativity and strategy in mind.

I photograph your property as it is experienced, not just as it is styled. I follow natural light as it moves through rooms, pay attention to how spaces connect, and focus on the details that signal comfort, care, and welcome.

Interiors, outdoor living areas, gardens, and the moments in between all play a part in the story your future guests are already telling themselves.

Where it suits the story, a people presence can be included to give a sense of scale and warmth, always natural and never staged.

The goal is simple and powerful: to help the right guests picture themselves arriving, settling in, and wanting to stay a little longer.

The Stay Story

A storytelling approach to boutique accommodation photography

The Stay Story is my signature storytelling experience for accommodation owners who want imagery that captures atmosphere, flow, and feeling, not just floor plans and features.

This approach focuses on:

  • how guests move through your space

  • where first impressions are formed

  • the small details that shape comfort and trust

  • the moments that appear in reviews and recommendations

It is designed to help future guests feel connected to your property before they ever arrive, which is where booking decisions are truly made.

This is not fast turnaround listing photography. It is considered experience-led storytelling for places that deserve to be remembered.

A bedroom with a bed that has a wooden headboard, light blue and white floral bedding, and three pillows. Next to the bed, there is a wooden nightstand with a white lamp, a white mug, a gold candle holder, and a couple of books including a garden guide. There are also some plants visible in the room.

Who this accommodation photography experience is for

This experience is designed for boutique accommodation owners and small hospitality businesses across Toowoomba, the Scenic Rim, Lockyer Valley, Southern Downs, Brisbane, and wider Queensland who want imagery that feels warm, natural, and genuinely inviting.

This is for you if:

  • You own a boutique stay, Airbnb, farm stay, cottage, villa, or heritage property

  • You want guests who choose you for the experience, not just the price

  • You care about atmosphere as much as amenities

  • Your property has personality and a sense of place

  • You are building something you want to be proud of for years to come

If you see your accommodation as part of a guest’s story, not just their itinerary, you are in the right place.

An approach shaped by real guest experience and tourism marketing

My sessions are guided by observation rather than rigid shot lists.

I work slowly and intentionally, allowing spaces to settle and reveal their character. I notice how light changes through the day, how guests would naturally move from room to room, and which spaces invite people to pause and linger.

Because of my background in tourism and marketing, I am always thinking beyond individual images. I am looking at how your story unfolds from the first online search, to clicking through your listing, to arrival, and finally to the way guests describe their stay to others.

This perspective shapes not only how I photograph your property, but how I help you present it to the world.

Guest Experience Edit

For owners who want to strengthen the full guest journey

For some properties, I offer a Guest Experience Edit as part of a more in-depth collaboration.

This is a dedicated consultation where we walk through your guest journey from first click to final goodbye. We look at touch points, moments of hesitation, and opportunities to strengthen how guests feel at each stage of their experience.

The insights from this session help guide how your property is photographed and often highlight simple, practical changes that can lift both confidence and connection with future guests.

It is thoughtful, grounded in tourism experience, and designed to support not just how your property looks, but how it performs.

Homes, gardens, and private places with character

The same storytelling approach is also available for private homes and gardens with character and soul. Some accommodation owners choose to document both their stay and their own home, especially if they have luxury cabins on-site. This creates a cohesive visual story that reflects their lifestyle and business.
