My sessions are relaxed, with a little direction when needed and plenty of opportunity for everyone to be themselves. We can photograph your family at home, in the garden or somewhere outdoors that you particularly enjoy.
And because I believe photographs deserve to be enjoyed beyond a phone or computer screen, every collection includes a beautiful, professionally printed photograph alongside your digital images.

The Family Story | $625
For immediate families who would love a relaxed session and a beautiful collection of photographs together.
We will have time for family portraits, individual photographs and some natural moments along the way. The session can be as relaxed or as lively as your family is!

Bringing the extended family together?
If you would prefer a shorter session with a limited number of family group photographs, The Family Story can also accommodate extended families for an additional $100.
This option suits families who want a photo of everyone together and a selection of smaller groups, without needing individual portraits of every household.

Getting everyone together isn't always easy, especially when children grow up, move away, and start families of their own. A birthday, anniversary, or family visit can provide the perfect opportunity to finally update those family photographs.
This session allows more time for photographs of everyone together, individual households, grandparents with grandchildren, cousins and the different combinations that matter to your family.

How Does It All Work?
Booking a family photography session is quite straightforward. Here is what to expect.
1. Let's Have a Chat
Send me an enquiry with a little information about your family, any dates you have in mind and where you would like your photographs taken.
If you are organising a session as a gift for parents or grandparents, let me know so we can work through the arrangements together.
2. We Will Make a Plan
Once we have settled on a date, location and collection, I will send through your booking agreement and invoice.
You will also receive some helpful suggestions for choosing clothing and preparing for the session.
For extended families, we will make a simple list of the group photographs you would like so we can make the most of our time together.
3. Enjoy Your Session
You don't need to worry about where to stand or what to do with your hands! I will offer a little direction when it is helpful, but there will also be time to relax and enjoy yourselves.
I like to photograph a mix of family portraits and natural interactions, so your finished photographs will have plenty of variety without everyone feeling like they spent the entire session posing.
And if the children need a break or decide they would rather explore the garden, that is perfectly fine too.
4. Your Photographs Are Ready
After your session, I will carefully select and edit your photographs, then upload your finished collection to a private online gallery.
You can download your digital images, share them with family and choose your favourite photograph for your included fine art print.
We will professionally produce your chosen print and deliver it directly to your nominated address.
Photographs for Your Home
There is something lovely about having family photographs displayed around your home, whether it is a favourite portrait on the wall, a photograph sitting on a bookshelf or a few extra prints to share with grandparents.
Every family photography collection includes a beautiful Fine Art Print, professionally printed on premium Smooth Cotton paper and delivered to your door.
If you would like more, your private gallery also offers a carefully selected range of photographic prints, fine art prints, family print packages and framed artwork in different sizes and finishes.
All prints and framed artwork are professionally produced in Australia, with additional orders delivered directly to you. You're not obligated to purchase anything beyond your chosen photography collection.

Lifestyle sessions are less about perfect posing and more about holding onto a season of life. Here are a few questions people often ask before booking.

There will be some gentle direction, particularly for group photographs, but nothing too formal. I want everyone to feel comfortable, so we will keep things relaxed and allow people's personalities to come through.

That is perfectly fine! Children are often happiest when they have a little freedom to explore, play and be themselves. We can work around them rather than expecting everyone to sit beautifully for an hour.

Absolutely. Both collections can accommodate extended families, depending on the number of people, the family groupings you would like and the time available. We can discuss which option will work best before booking.

There is no need for everyone to match. I will provide suggestions for coordinating colours and choosing clothing that photographs well, while still allowing everyone to feel comfortable and look like themselves.
