The way late afternoon light filters across the verandah, the soft hum of breakfast being made, the laughter of kids running barefoot through the backyard, or the gentle scurry of paws on timber floors. I’m Laurene, a lifestyle and branding photographer based in Toowoomba, with a heart for storytelling and a soft spot for heritage homes, rambling gardens, and the people who fill them with life.

My style blends editorial beauty with a documentary soul. Part magazine-worthy, part real-life warmth. Whether we’re photographing a family curled up in their favourite corner of the garden, or a creative business owner immersed in their work, I’m there to capture the emotion, the texture, the light and the truth of the moment.

Why I Do This

Before turning into a professional photographer, I spent over a decade in tourism and marketing. Helping people connect with experiences that meant something. What stuck with me was this: we remember how things feel, not just how they look.

Photography became a way to bottle that feeling. To create images that bring you back to the moment: the smoky air around a backyard fire pit, the brush of petals in full bloom, the pride in someone’s eyes as they opens their studio to the world. That’s the legacy I want to help you hold onto.
