Interiors and Design Photography
Photography that honours craftsmanship, design and the details that make a space feel considered
Every space tells us something about the people who created it.
The choice of timber beneath your hand. The texture of stone selected for its character. The way morning light moves across a room. The details that may seem small, but reveal the thought behind the design.
I photograph interiors, architecture, and renovated homes, focusing on the elements that make them distinctive. My approach looks beyond the finished room to capture the craftsmanship, materials, and decisions that brought it to life.
Every design story begins with understanding. Before your session, we talk through the purpose of the space, the choices behind the design and the details you want to highlight. This allows me to photograph your project with the same care and consideration that shaped its creation.
On the day, the process is calm and considered. I work with natural light, refine small details as needed, and let each space reveal itself naturally.
The result is imagery that feels honest, timeless and reflective of the work behind the design.
Interior Photography Collections
Every project has its own rhythm.
Some need a short, focused session to capture the details that bring a design together. Others need time to explore the full space, letting the architecture, materials, light, and atmosphere become part of the story.
These collections provide a starting point, with each session shaped around your project and how you intend to use the imagery.
The Detail Collection
For smaller projects, portfolio updates and those beautifully considered details that deserve a closer look.
Approximately 60 minutes, focusing on materials, textures, styling and the finer elements that reveal the craftsmanship behind the work.
Curated imagery for your portfolio, website and marketing.
The Interior Story
For completed interiors, renovations and design projects where the space itself needs to tell the story.
Approximately 90 minutes exploring the relationship between rooms, materials, architecture, light and atmosphere.
A considered visual story of the finished project.
The Editorial Collection
For substantial homes, larger projects and spaces with a strong visual identity.
A longer session that allows time to explore architecture, interiors, materials, gardens, and the finer details, creating a more comprehensive visual record.
For portfolio development, marketing and editorial opportunities.
Home & Garden Stories
For people who have created a home they love.
Some places deserve to be photographed simply because they are yours.
A garden you've spent years nurturing. A home you've slowly renovated and filled with things you love. The kitchen where everyone gathers. The verandah where summer evenings seem to last a little longer.
This is a relaxed, editorial session documenting your home and garden as they are now, with you, your partner, children and pets naturally included if you'd like them to be.
It isn't a traditional family portrait session. The home is the heart of the story.
A visual record of the place you've created and the life within it.
Interiors & Design Inclusions
Your project is approached with the same care that shaped its creation. Before your session, we take time to understand the space's purpose, the decisions behind the design, and the details that deserve to be highlighted.
During the shoot, I work quietly through the space, observing the relationship between light, materials, textures and the elements that bring the design together. I make small refinements where needed, while always preserving the character and integrity of the project.
Each image is carefully refined by hand, balancing clarity, warmth and a timeless quality. Your final gallery is delivered in a private online collection, ready for your portfolio, website, award submissions, editorial opportunities and marketing.
My Approach
I photograph interiors with a calm and considered approach, allowing each space to reveal the thought behind its design.
Rather than simply documenting a finished room, I look for the details that explain why it feels the way it does. The grain of timber selected for its character. The craftsmanship of a handmade finish. The way natural light changes across a surface throughout the day.
I work with a space's existing character, making thoughtful adjustments where needed while keeping the final imagery honest and aligned with the vision behind it.
For professional projects, I understand that these photographs need to do more than look beautiful. They need to represent your work accurately and give prospective clients, publications and collaborators a sense of what you create.
For homeowners, the purpose is more personal. It is about preserving a place at a particular point in your life, before the garden changes, the rooms evolve and the people within them grow.
Let's Begin
Great design deserves to be photographed with the same thoughtfulness that went into creating it.
And sometimes, a home deserves to be remembered for more than the way it looked on the day it was finished.
If you'd like to create a visual story of your project, your home or the garden you've spent years nurturing, I'd love to hear about it.
Together, we'll work out the right approach and create imagery that feels considered, natural and true to the place.
