Photography for Interiors, Renovations and Design-Led Spaces
For designers, builders and homeowners who value craftsmanship, character and a sense of place
Some spaces are created to be lived in. Others are created to be experienced.
The best ones are shaped with intention.
I photograph interiors, character homes, and renovation projects with a focus on natural light, materials, and the quiet details that define how a space feels. My work is for people who want their design choices, craftsmanship, and vision to be understood clearly.
This is not real estate photography.
This is storytelling for spaces with character.
Why your imagery matters
Design-led spaces deserve imagery that reflects the thought behind them. When your photos feel flat or rushed, the work you have poured into the space is lost.
Designers, builders and homeowners often tell me the same things:
Their previous photographer used wide angles that distorted the room
The lighting felt harsh or artificial
The details they cared about were missed
The images looked like a real estate listing rather than a design project
The space felt brighter or darker than it really is
The final gallery did not reflect the atmosphere they created
These are common pain points. They are also completely avoidable.
Thoughtful imagery helps people understand the quality of your work.
It strengthens your portfolio, supports future enquiries and gives your clients confidence in your process.
What sets my work apart from real estate photography
Real estate photography is built for speed. Your work is built for story.
Real estate photography aims to show as much of a room as possible. My work aims to show what the room feels like.
Real estate photography uses bright lights and wide lenses. I use natural light, careful composition and a slower, more intentional approach.
Real estate photography is about selling a property. My work is about honouring the design, the materials and the atmosphere of a space.
This difference is what makes your project stand out.
What I focus on
Every space has its own rhythm. It’s own light, textures and sense of welcome. My role is to translate that into imagery that feels warm, grounded, and true to how the space was designed.
A typical session includes:
Natural light that reflects the real atmosphere of the space
Materials and textures are photographed with clarity and depth
Architectural details and craftsmanship
Thoughtful styling and spatial flow
Wide images that feel calm and balanced
Close details that show intention and quality
The result is a gallery that feels cohesive, refined and aligned with the story you want to tell.
Who this is for
This work is suited to people who value design, detail and a sense of place.
Interior designers and decorators
Builders and tradespeople who specialise in character homes
Renovation specialists
Architects and design studios
Homeowners with design-led spaces
Boutique accommodation owners with interiors worth celebrating
If your work relies on strong imagery to attract the right clients, this plays an important role in how you are seen.
Your experience
The process is calm, collaborative and designed to respect the space.
Before your session, we talk through the project, the design choices and the story behind the space. I learn what matters most to you so I can photograph it with intention.
On the day, I work with the natural light and flow of the space. Small adjustments are made where needed, but the aim is always to keep everything feeling authentic rather than overly styled.
After your session, each image is selected and edited by hand. I refine light, tone and colour so the final gallery feels consistent, natural and true to the space you created.
A background in tourism and place-based storytelling
My work in tourism has shaped the way I photograph interiors and design.
I understand how people respond to spaces and what makes them pause.
This perspective helps me create imagery that feels lived-in, atmospheric, and grounded.
Images that feel like an experience rather than a documentation.
Investment
Every project is different, so pricing depends on the scale of the space, the level of detail involved and how you plan to use your images.
I have created an Interiors and Renovations Investment Guide that outlines what is included, how sessions work and what to expect. If you would like a copy, get in touch and I will send it through along with a tailored recommendation.
Let’s photograph your project with the care it deserves
If you want imagery that reflects the quality of your work and helps people understand the thought behind it, I would love to hear from you.
Tell me about your project, and I will guide you through the next steps.
